Ad Shapes
The shape of the ad controls the coverage created when reserving ad spaces on the book plan. It is also used to calculate the true page coverage of the ad. Virtual Publisher provides a list of ad shapes for most standard sizes; however, publishers can create custom shapes for ads with unusual sizes.
Creating Custom Ad Shapes
To create a new custom ad shape, select Custom Ad Shape from the dropdown selector. This will populate a new field called Shape for you to configure. Enter in the dimensions of the new ad shape and you will see the Ad Specification Preview adjust according to the new dimensions.
